Lucy has been the director of Sheffield Music School for 3+ years and has enjoyed growing the student numbers with a variety of classes from rap groups to classical ensembles, performance workshops to theory classes. As a result of a growing need in the city, Lucy and her team created the project Tracks, with an emphasis on engaging the cities vulnerable students to make meaningful music.

Lucy has also coached the cello section of Derbyshire Youth Orchestra, taught cello for 15 years across Sheffield and Derbyshire. Lucy is also a highly experienced coach for those interested in performance and mentors people interested in careers in music. Her experience spans from working with students to reach diploma level playing and University workshops, directing music videos to leading beginner orchestras, forming new bands and organising community events.
